TRANSACTION CODES
- 940 Warehouse Shipping Order – The 940 Warehouse Shipping Order is used to advise warehouses to ship orders. It includes information such as what to ship, how much to ship, and when to ship. This is commonly a seller-generated document.
- 943 Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipment Advice – This document is used to replace a paper version of a warehouse stock transfer advice. It is used to advise a recipient that a transfer shipment has been made and provides a receiving location with information concerning product being shipped to that location.
- 944 Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice – This document is sent in response to the 943 and confirms that a transfer shipment has been received.
- 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice – The 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice is sent to a Trading Partner as confirmation of a shipment. Common information contained within this EDI transaction will include: shipment identification, ship-from, ship-to, date of shipment, item shipped, quantity shipped, and method of shipment.
- 997 Functional Acknowledgment – Communicates the successful receipt and translation of an EDI document. MessageXpress automatically handles all 997’s for you.
